

ABOUT SHOSHANA
With over 20 years experience as a licensed clinician (MFT License No. MFC31726), Shoshana Volkas has been conducting individual and group psychotherapy in private practice in both the Los Angeles and Orange County areas. She provides supportive psychotherapy for cancer patients — from diagnosis, through treatment, and post-treatment survivorship phases. She specializes in working with individuals and families coping with chronic and/or life threatening illnesses.
As a clinical medical case management consultant, Shoshana Volkas contracts with hospitals, clinics and non-profit health care settings, as well as with health care licensed providers. She has conducted trainings in clinical case management, within county, state, public, non-profit and private sectors.
Shoshana Volkas has also trained and supervised MFT and MSW interns and consulted with licensed therapists in counseling cancer patients.
Shoshana Volkas also volunteers, providing counseling, health education and self-advocacy training to low-income individuals in Orange and Los Angeles Counties who are currently undergoing cancer treatment.
